The Conservation games are a first of their kind! The Zambesia Conservation Alliance which is a not-for-profit trust has created a fundraising and awareness initiative called #SportForConservation. Its aim is to be a driving force to bring awareness and raise funding for wildlife conservation across Africa using the power of sport. With the onset of Covid-19, the need for support to the frontline heroes of wildlife conservation has never been greater than right now.

This first event of the Conservation Games will bring together all our favourite African sporting heroes to face off against one another in a virtual battle of knowledge of sports trivia in general, their own careers and that of their opponents. Undoubtedly there will be a great deal of locker room humour woven into the mix as well as some interesting topical messaging.
